Satisfaction of students who are served by educational institutions is a very important data reservoir for quality improvement studies. This study was conducted to detect whether the questionnaire which we have organized to determine satisfaction of student and to identfy dissatisfaction areas in a reliable and valid way measures things what we want exactly or not (ie. Its validity) and the results we have got after use of this tool are reliable or not. It was determined that the tool which we tested on 695 students in a 3-years period included 11 factors (or subgroubs), correlation values for all items were between 0.36 and 0.70 (except for 49th item) and total Cronbach al fa coefficient of the tool was 0.97. In conclusion, we believe that all, items of the tool are sufficient (except for one item), the questionnaire is a valid and reliable tool and can be used in measuring students satisfaction in nursing education institutions.
