Evaluation of Health Care Technology Course

This is a descriptive and methodological research study, designed for the purpose of evaluating a new course, entitled "Nursing Care Technology", which was offered to sophomore students for the first time as part of the regular curriculum in the 1999- 2000 school year of Florence Nightingale College of Nursing. The universe of the research was students (60 students) who selected the Nursing Care Technology Course of Florence Nightingale College of Nursing. Sampling group consists of the whole field of the research . Data was collected using two survey forms designed by the researchers. Frequency distributions were calculated, and data was analyzed using the percentage and chi square tests. Students expressed that the goals of the course were reached . They were generally satisfied with the course, with a high percentage of them passing the course successfully.
