Orientation education is of vital importance in quality nursing care. Orientation education is the activity practiced freguently by education department of nursing services. The goal of orientation education is to ensure that nurses are competent to fullfill the roles and functions of their assigned position, in other words, to ensure that nurses are capable of doing their roles and functions. In order to obtain these aims, orientation program should be realized in accordance with stages of teachinglearning process such as, assesment of needs, planning, implementation, and evaluation of program.
