Symptom Management and Continuation of Life Quality in the Patients Receiving Chemotherapy

Cancer is still significant health problem, and chemotherapy is a treatment option for cancer. The aim of chemotherapy used for cancer treatment is to care the patient and prolong his/her life, and to raise life quality by reducing its symptoms. But, the treatment applied to may lead to a lot of adverse effects. The determination of the symptoms which may develop depending on chemotherapy having a significant impact on life quality of the patients and taking symptoms under control by applying nursing care for individual is essential. The aim of the article is to present the results of actual researches carried out as to more quality life of the patients and about raising of life qualities of the patients and controlling of the symptoms to which chemotherapy caused.
