The Nurses Whose Working in a Private Hospitals Group Comments about in Service Education Applications

Purpose: This study aimed to determine in a private hospitals group the nurses’comments about the in-servis training applications in the institution and it was made in descriptive type.

Method: This study was consemed by 1038 nurses working for 6 hospitals belong to an Healthcare Group. This study was constituted by 722 nurses who were completed their orientation process. The data, consist of 52 questions were collected by questionnaire which include demographic properties, the education activities of the institution, and the nurses’comments about the education activities in the institution.

Results: As a result of this research, it was found that; a majority of the nurses satisfied with the education activities of the institution, they wanted at the most improve their Professional knowledge, and they wanted to get help from Education and Development Department about apply for to reach the professional knowledge and the publications. The nurses especially want to be educated by the educator nurses and they want to be awarded due to their success in education by a gift, congratulation and a promotion. In the education process satisfaction of analizes of requirement activities were the lowest, satisfaction of the education applications were the highest. Under 20 age, high school graduate, and satisfated their job and education activites of institution were more positive comments than the others.

Conclusions: The nurses have positive ideas about institution’education activities.
