Gardner feels that, in education, it is important to identify what a person is capable of doing and that one should be aware of the concept of multiple types of intelligence. A person should be able to identify his own types of intelligence and educational approaches should be developed in line with these qualities to facilitate problem solving, decision-making and creative thinking processes. The Multiple Intelligence Theory should be considered as an educational process that can increase the learning of students in all areas of knowledge and can support the methods used in foundational nursing education.
