Because the nursing care to be individual specific and qualified, is important to be provided with nursing models/ theories driven in accordance the nursing process. Roy’s Adaptation Model’s purpose which is focus on human’s adaptation is speeding up and developing individual adaptation process. Liver Transplantation which is a big surgery is the very important experience in the patient and their family life. Liver transplantation aff ects the next part of the life therefore patient should adapt to many situations as physical, social, psychological and emotional. In preoperative period, surgical risk and complications may be reduced with nursing care compliance to surgical process facilitated by using the Roy’s adaptation model. The present case study Roy’s Adaptation Model, which focused on the individual adaptation for the preoperative period of the patient who planned liver transplantation, was used. Roy ‘s Adaptation Model which focusing on the harmony of the individual in the nursing care in preoperative period of the patient who planned liver transplantation.
