Today, subcutaneous heparin injections are commonly used for a variety of treatments. After the subcutaneous heparin injections, ecchymosis, hematoma occurence and pain are the most common complications. In this article, the factors which is effective on the development of the complications occured after administering heparin injection, and the studies concerning to the subject were examined.
