Hospice care is a type of care provided to a terminaJly ill patient and focuses on enhancing the dying person's quality of life rather than trying to cure the terminal illness. However, the final days of life have to be made many end-of-life decisions, this decisions involve many potential ethical concern. These states, effective communication is the cornerstone of exceJlence in patient care. Ensuring good communication among the physician, health care professionals, patients, and family wiJI facilitate care, and avoid ethical problems.
