Nurse-Patient Interaction

Nurse interacts with patients in all their roles and responsibilities regarding protecting and improving patient/family/community health, well-being and healing in the event of illness. Focus of the interaction between nurse-patient/patient’s family is determining and meeting patient’s needs. In improving caring relationship, using names, power distribution, respect, trust, assertiveness, having autonomy and responsibility, paying attention to privacy and confidentiality, togetherness and ethic behavior are important as well as using communication techniques.
