A Pilot Study of Teaching Staff Satisfaction Scale and Determination of Satisfaction Level of Teaching Staff in Nursing College

This study was conducted as a descriptive study to develop a measurement t<)ol that will de used in measuring satisfaction of teaching staff in line of quality impro\\ement efforts in education and to measure satisfaction level of teaching staff prospectivel, to determine dissatisfaction areas and to collect data for improvement studies in the C'Jllege. With this study, studies about development of staff satisfaction scale have begun and it was found that the scale consisted of 5 subgroups, correlation values were between 0.41 and 0.81( except for 4th item) and total cronbach alpha coefficient was 0.98, It was determined that satisfaction levels of staff in 1999 and 2001 were low (under n()rmal values) in all subgroups and in general and there was no statistical difference between them.
